An evergreen shrub with a tidy, compact, round form. Dark green leaves are leathery and oval with serrated edges. Foliage tints bronze-red in winter. Slightly fragrant masses of deep rose- pink flowers bloom in clusters at branch tips. Blooms in winter, spring and sometimes fall are followed by dark blue fruits. Wind resistant.
